Day 17 of my journey is done! I ate no processed or artificial sugar, so it was a good day. I still have cravings however and wonder how long do I have to go sugar-free before they will stop! I’m wondering if I would need to stop ALL forms of sugar and maybe even ALL carbs to finally have my brain STOP whispering sugar sweet nothings in my ear!
I still miss sugar. It’s been especially challenging since I gave up honey and agave this month as well! I was (AND STILL AM) hoping that fruit and other naturally sweet foods will taste sweeter… like coffee with milk, unsweetened teas, fruits, unsweetened yogurt, etc. I thought a month would be long enough… but maybe not. I’m going to keep going for the rest of this month as I am determined to see if life truly will be better if I go sugar-free.
