Not Just A Blonde

We are "Not Just" who we seem to be on this Earthly plane, but so much more. We are ALL children of a loving God who is calling us home to Love. This blog is dedicated to those of us on that journey together…

Life is difficult. Truly, life can be so hard from time to time… sometimes the pain of this life feels unending. No matter how much we try to control it and make all the right choices, life at times is utterly unbearable! This is true for everyone… we each are guaranteed to suffer in this life.

Life is supposed to be difficult for us. Yes, God completely allows it! God allows difficulties to help shape us… not to punish us. God always, always, always, has our best interests at heart and desires for us to unite our will with God’s.

Someway, somehow, I believe the difficulties we experience in this life help us on our journey towards Him. The truth is our difficulties are what often remind us that this life isn’t about finding perfect happiness all the time or achieving all of our earthly dreams… but is about much, much more.

Our difficulties are what challenge us. Our difficulties are what cause us to look to God for direction and for peace. Difficulties force us to seek outside ourselves for help, for hope and for love. Most importantly, difficulties encourage us to give help, hope and love to others, as this is one of God’s greatest commands.

Ann, You are quite right, we are sometimes allowed to suffer, but always understand that something good will come out of it, probably for somebody else, but possibly for ourselves. Be sure that God will never let us suffer more than She has equipped us to bear. The difficulties, or suffering that we encounter shape us toward the Spiritual form that God wants us to take: it knocks off the sharp edges and smooths out the wrinkles. You are so right to recognize that we should wish to unite our will with God’s. Please make my will align perfectly with your will Almighty One!

    1. I did not think of the truth that my suffering might indeed benefit another! It amazes me how God works for ALL of our better good! Thank you for sharing this! ❤️Ann

I also believe that friends are placed in our lives to help us along our journey.
