Not Just A Blonde

We are "Not Just" who we seem to be on this Earthly plane, but so much more. We are ALL children of a loving God who is calling us home to Love. This blog is dedicated to those of us on that journey together…

We can indeed embrace our Christian Faith and our sexuality without conflict or compromise! God created us to live and love in our own unique way… and this uniqueness need not be denied but celebrated! God loves us as we are!

He created each of us to love and be loved as we are and for who we are: be it heterosexual, gay, transgender, lesbian, inter-sexual, bi-sexual or asexual.

The way we love and are loved is not a sin. Being and behaving contrary to who God created us to be, that is what is sinful. Denying our sexuality can force us to live in sin by disconnecting us from His plan for our lives.

We are reconciled to Him by embracing the beautiful person of light and of love that He created us to be. God simply needs each of us to live authentically and never be ashamed of who we are or how we love!

*I wrote this in response to what I would want to say to someone who felt their sexual orientation was incompatible with Christianity. It breaks my heart to think someone would feel they have to leave their Faith in order to love.

I have to say I. Surprised at your duality of thinking here. I don’t meet many people of faith willing to accept us LGBTQ people… I love it though…. I was told I was going to hell yesterday by a supposed Christian who also said every time I go out in public and ‘act gay’ I would be condemning every person that condones it! Omg I had to laugh. I love this post xx

    1. I’m SO happy to hear that you were laughing at that! I’m sorry you or anyone that identifies as LBGTQ would have to hear such ridiculousness! What concerns me even more is that someone might actually be hurt by those words or actually believe them! Gasp! Unacceptable!

I just want my voice to join the many and GROWING group of Christians that understand your sexual orientation is not a defining factor in whether or not you are living in sin, but your heart is. That’s what it’s all about to me… the heart.

Thank you for your comment… this post was written for you! I am praying you continue to show your ‘gayness’ in public over and over again! The world needs you to shine as you are and anything less would just not be right!❤️Ann

Thanks so much for that Ann. Xx I’m not Christian my self, but I was raised in the christian faith by a devout family… ( they have nothing to do with my not being Christian or any other faith they’re awesome.) I did love you’re post and I love what you said about the heart… I agree with you totally. And yeah I guess some people might be hurt by some of the things people say, a long time ago I may have been too, but with comments like, “because gays can’t reproduce they’re just gonna die out anyway’ how can you not laugh. I also love how you’re letting you’re voice be heard, I think it’s important for people as kind and intelligent as you to show that not everyone with faith or beliefs are haters. I respect you forever for this thank you x

      2. You just made my heart swell! ❤️Ann

Even though marriage isn’t the specific topic of your post, this little ditty spoke to me about the ridiculous arguments that some people make against same-sex marriage. I saw it on one of myliberalcommieAmerica-hatingsocialist political blogs this morning.

“If homosexuality can affect your marriage, then one of you is gay.”

    It made me smile.
